Let's Target Motion Graphics Design

 

Let's Target is a digital content series that brings celebrities together to spark conversation, try new hobbies, and use Target products while they’re at it.

As the designer on this project, I developed a graphics system that merged Target’s core clean brand look with a playful touch and worked with a motion designer to create a consistent, energetic animation language across all YouTube and social content.

VISUAL PACKAGE

The visual identity of Let’s Target plays with Frames as its primary motif. As an abstraction of a video call format, these rectangular frames act as transitional elements to bring viewers into and out of the content. To supplement these frames, a looped animation of iconography relevant to Target texturizes the backgrounds, reinforcing the core concept of product-inspired activities.

I also art directed the thumbnail designs for these videos, providing direction on YouTube best practices for image selection, framing, and bringing in the playfulness and identity from the animated package.
