A technical skill bootcamp turned motion and illustration exploration project.
This project began out of an impulse to learn After Effects with the goal of locking my first post-grad job (it worked!). It’s evolved into much more. 365 Days of Motion is a reflection of my growth as a designer.
The Process
Each animation is completed in a single day. The ideas come from a spur of the moment “What If…” thought, a desire to learn some new technical chops, and a backlog of texts to myself that read like:
a floral shop but a little acid trippy
neon line robot dancing
breaking my neck fishing out the last boba
From purely technical explorations to message-specific motion, and more recently, illustration-heavy animation, this project is my space for experimentation and growth.
